If you knew about the things that were in Milk Duds, you might not like them so much anymore! For example, one ingredient in Milk Duds are mono- and diglycerides. These two things are commonly used to keep foods from getting stale, or to give them a thicker consistency. They also prevent seperation and add to the texture of the food. However, these ingredients are really just fats. Put together with the next ingredient on the list, milk fat, as well as all of the other fats already in Milk Duds, a simple serving of them is starting to look pretty fattening! If you look at the ingredients of Milk Duds, you may also notice a thing called resinous glaze. Doesn't sound that bad, right? But resinous glaze is actually made from an insect!
